We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate complex engineering projects within the oil and gas industry. With at least 10 years of experience, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects by managing technical activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project objectives, budgets, and deadlines.

Your responsibilities

Project Planning & Management :

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets in line with project objectives.
• Monitor project progress, anticipate risks, and implement corrective actions to meet key milestones.
• Manage costs, planning, and contractual changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Coordination & Risk Management :

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities to ensure project requirements are met.
• Lead technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to support decision-making.
• Review technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal procedures.

Stakeholder & Contract Management :

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Manage third-party relationships, subcontracting activities, negotiations, and contractual matters.
• Identify and manage contractual changes while maintaining control over costs and budgets.

Team Leadership :

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project engineers.
• Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence within multidisciplinary teams.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 10 years of experience in project engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong technical expertise combined with project coordination and leadership capabilities.
• Proven experience in cost control, budget management, planning, risk management, and contractual change management.
• Good knowledge of subcontracting, negotiation, and third-party relationship management.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
