About the Role

As part of the IT transformation and digital strategy of our client initiatives, we are looking for an experienced Lead Solution Architect - Microsoft Fabric & Data Platform to drive the design and implementation of an enterprise Data & Analytics platform built on the Microsoft ecosystem, with Microsoft Fabric at its core.

In this strategic role, you will define end-to-end solution architecture, translate business requirements into scalable and governed data solutions, and lead key architectural decisions throughout the implementation lifecycle. You will ensure Microsoft Fabric is positioned as a strategic enterprise platform that enables business value, rather than simply another technology solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise solution architecture for Microsoft Fabric and the broader Microsoft Data Platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and business-ready architecture solutions.
• Own the end-to-end architecture across OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Integration, Real-Time Analytics, Semantic Models, and Business Intelligence.
• Lead architecture decisions from design through implementation, deployment, and platform adoption.
• Establish architecture standards, governance principles, and best practices for the Microsoft Fabric platform.
• Design and implement secure data governance, including Microsoft Purview integration, data lineage, sensitivity labels, and access control.
• Define and support Git integration, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD practices across the platform.
• Provide architectural guidance for migration strategies, environment promotion, performance optimization, capacity planning, and governance.
• Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, communicating complex architectural concepts in clear business terms.
• Promote Microsoft Fabric as a strategic enterprise platform supporting long-term business transformation.

Required Experience

• 8-10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Data Platform Architecture, Data Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience leading Microsoft Fabric implementations or closely related Microsoft Data Platform solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience designing solutions using OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Integration Pipelines, Semantic Models, and BI.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric governance, including Purview integration, lineage, sensitivity labels, and secure data access.
• Practical experience with Git integration, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD within Microsoft analytics environments.
• Experience addressing migration challenges, performance optimization, capacity management, governance trade-offs, and enterprise adoption.
• Strong SQL expertise with working knowledge of PySpark, KQL, and DAX/Semantic Modelling.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technology while influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Preferred certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • TOGAF (preferred but secondary to hands-on Microsoft Fabric architecture experience).
